Isle of Man trust law is based largely upon English statutory and common law, however the Island has its own statutory provisions and its case law has developed independently in some areas.
The Island will shortly be introducing a trust service provider regime which will regulate those providing the services of trustees and protectors by way of business. We are happy to advise upon the new regime.
