The Companies (Amendment) Act 2009 came into force on 1st September 2009. The Act clarifies certain accounting requirements for companies incorporated under the Companies Act 1931 and the Companies Act 2006, as well as giving the Commission powers to provide for the issue of Treasury shares by companies.
