Recent legislation in the Island has built a system of human rights upon the sound basis of natural justice, with the result that businesses and public bodies are under increasing pressure to consider human rights in relation to their activities.

We are able to provide advice to public bodies on their powers and responsibilities, and to the organisations they oversee on the range and implications of such powers and help to such organisations challenge those powers by petition of doleance, which is of broadly equivalent effect to judicial review in English law.
